My sister-in-law suffers from the same affliction, not knowing the spelling of words but going for the phonetic instead. She was typing "must of" and "could of" and I was wondering WTF, until I figured out she thought that's what "must've" or "must have" looked like. Another time she actually typed out "mise well" because she thought that's what "might as well" was (when you say it fast).

For 17dollars I’m going to pass but 17 seems kinda low. Do you only get paid if you’ve suffered from a actual fraudulent action? Just being on a list probably doesn’t get you anything I assume.

If you suffer anything significant, opt out of any class action suits and file your own.

If you are just on the list but nothing happened, most companies send a letter (because PI leaks happen A LOT) to everyone impacted and offer them a free credit monitoring service for a year or so.
