in my experience you can ninjaclick everywhere so i guess stars did a OK job ban/prevent script users. However dont be naiv some people use something which is not a classic script- but some kind of helper to jump in the juicy games.

If you watched the stars lobby for even a day it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to work out who is using something lol.

Joey - to be clear I am a 500/1k player who easily clicks into most games. Most of the students at bitB easily click in to lower stakes games. Stars have and are actively banning accounts using scripts.

Most people in the thread claiming there are large number of script users a) don't play those games or b) assume because they can't click fast enough, everyone they lose to must be using scripts (common thread with bot accusations).

Yes - there are probably a few who have slipped through, but the weight of evidence is that scripting really isn't prevalent anymore. Prior to the changes clicking into games was completely impossible.

The WPT real name events on Partypoker make for some great poker railing. The 10k PLO running right now has a pretty nice field. Players include:

Linus
Jason Mercier
Andreas Torbergsen
Niklas Åstedt
Laszlo Bujtas
Bengt Sonnert
Ben Lamb
Viktor Blom
Jorryt Van Hoof
Patrik Antonius
Ben Tollerene
Gavz
Trickett

Seems like PLO events attract a wider range of players than the high buyin NLHE events do, actually. I guess it's less defined who actually has a good edge and not, in them, compared to NLHE. I mean, pokershares won't even offer lines for PLO events - hard to have a good grasp on edges

PLO MTTs are closer to NLH MTTs than they are to PLO cash games.

100%

I don't play peak hours, but if I didn't read articles while playing I'd get like 80-90% of the seats playing multiple sites. It is def a big difference compared to 'before ban' times. Most of our students don't have problem getting seats either. Ping matters a lot tho
05-23-2020 , 03:41 PM
damn, you seat-getters must have accrued some terrible RSI
05-24-2020 , 06:01 AM
The best way to see a difference is to try to get a seat on iPoker without a script (or camping at the tables as everyone else)

No. Fc kin. Way

Even if you stare at one table without blinking

Fwiw I have no idea what the seat selection game is like on stars cause Im american and wouldn't be good enough to make it to where that type of stuff even matters, but on the Chico network (BetOnline, SportsBetting, Tiger Gaming, etc) it's hilarious how many scripters there are. I've never played any mid/high stakes and when I click on the seat (it gives you a 15 second timer to choose your starting buyin amount) the entire table fills up within 2 or 3 seconds. Then they all leave when they realize I'm just messing with them
05-24-2020 , 08:39 AM
its not much different on stars, but within 1 second, so these superhumans are actually faster than chico scripts

I used to play on BOL, and could click into the seats for PLO games. It wasn't easy and I definitely missed sometimes, but I mostly was able to get a seat. 2-3 secs is quite a bit of time if you are paying attention. There was only 1 account that I did suspect of scripting for literally sitting at the same time as certain fish, but for the most part, clicking in was easy enough even with plenty of competition.

I dk if the NLH situation was different as I have heard others complain about scripting.
