Hi everyone,

My name is Randy Garcia and I live in south Florida. I am happily married with 2 lovely kids and am a restauranteur and love to travel. I play poker tournaments very infrequently, maybe like 2 or 3 a year.

I got to know Maurice at some local south Florida casinos and over time, he charmed me into agreeing to stake him in tournaments. I was somewhat apprehensive but ultimately agreed. To make a long story very short Maurice final tabled a couple big tournaments and owed me $103,000. He has not yet paid me a dime of it. I waited 2 years before going public because I tried to be patient. I'm out of patience right now. Maurice has kept hitting large scores and keeps putting me off when I ask him about it. I have text messages that I am debating posting that shows Maurice confirming his scummyness and owing me this money.

For those who have twitter, my handle is @RandyViva2 and I outed him yesterday on there. I also filed a lawsuit against him in Palm Beach county.

I doubt I will ever see a penny of my money but I wanted to warn every poker player not to stake this POS. He is the scummiest of the scum. I didn't know better and got duped. I hope none of you do. He's barred I think from the Seminole Hard Rock here in Hollywood Fl.

I probably won't post very much here but feel free to comment or ask questions. My wife and kids come first and I will try to come back here on occasion. Thanks.

Do you have any documentation of your agreement or texts with him about the money you say he owes?

He literally said he has texts showing that Hawkins knows he owes him money.

Funny how in an interview after his 13th ring he said is out of staking deals and play his own money. Yeah , right! , what a scumbag .

I’ll victim blame and say if you loaned Hawkins money, that’s on you.

No idea what would give you the impression he’d pay you back.

Everyone ready for a good laugh? This Randy Garcia guy ask help from of all people nypokerking to out Hawkins. Lol. He asked the biggest scammer to out the 3rd biggest. And nypokerking via stories was asking if he should get involved and out the guy. Fun times.

Can someone please find the video where he explosively cried after winning a hand during the EPT? I can't remember which specific event or video it was.

Anyway, based on watching him on televised poker, these are just some of his observed mental ailments:

- Histrionic Personality Disorder
- (slightly controlled) Tourettes Syndrome
- Narcissistic Personality Disorder
- OCD (so obsessed with gambling that he has to do it with other peoples' money)
- Bipolar

I don't think you can make that claim until this thread gets so stuffed with people telling their stories about being scammed by Hawkins that someone has to start a 2nd threat titled, "Maurice Hawkins SCUM part two (more scams)" and the 2nd thread gets to 83 pages.
