Played with him a lot back in 2010. Maurice Hawkins Mike Dentale argument was one of the more amusing ones I've heard at the live table. He's fond of the minraise on the button over 3 limpers.

Please do tell Dentale Hawkins bout is worth more than Ali vs Tyson What happened?

Can't copy/paste from device but looks like he just tried to angle someone and failed via Choctaw updates

If you cant realize the stuff he does is just to get his opponents on tilt then I feel sorry for you. It is no different than in a pileup in football where ****ty stuff happens and said things about personal stuff happens. It happens at all HIGH level competition. If you don't agree then you prolly never played at that level before in a real sport

I disagree on all counts.

Not everyone who plays at a high level in sports is an angling douchebag.

I also would not consider Hawkins calibre of play "high level".

He is a douchebag though.

Hawkins sucks at poker from what I saw at PCA. The USA live circuit must be really soft. And he has still probably ran pretty hot.

Maurice Hawkins Caught with Queen-High

Four-time ring winner Maurice Hawkins is in the small blind facing off against the big blind and Russel Ivy in late position. The board reads and Hawkins leads for 18,000. The big blind folds and Ivy calls. They are heads up to the turn.
Third street falls the and Hawkins leads again, this time for 35,000. Ivy asks the dealer how much the bet is for.
"Did you say all in?!" Hawkins asks excitedly sliding his headphones off his ear.
"No. He asked how much," the dealer replies.
Ivy calls the 35,000 and it's off to the river.
Fifth street comes the and Hawkins reaches deep into his stack for an unknown bet amount. Ivy wastes little time moving all in for more and Hawkins immediately tables his hand -- for queen-high. There's some confusion about whether Hawkins said call or fold but after he explains he has queen-high it's obvious he folded. Ivy's cards are never revealed and he rakes in the pot.
Russell Ivy - 283,000 (47 BBs)
Maurice Hawkins - 215,000 (35 BBs)

Anything to save his ass for the inevitable . If it was the other way around do you think his cards would have been exposed? Same as pulling back some of your chips after you placed the bet. He did call but he hoped they didnt hear it Slick move dude i bet he got 100 more up his sleeve

If you have to resort to getting your opponents in tilt mode to better your game then you cannot be considered a pro to begin with . Ivey Doyle Neg Antonius , to cite a few . Do they need to go that route? No they win by playing poker and not playing dirty
