Matty was my friend and I'm so heart broken and sad over this. No one really sees a situation like this coming and it's so hard to think of the perfect way to handle such a situation ahead of time. The WPT, I feel, did the best they could in that moment. Allen is a kind person but a bit blunt at times and has his own opinion but always willing to listen and discuss solutions. I think since Matty loved poker and worked so hard to make day 2, instead of blinding him out, they could ( I'm not saying should cuz its just my thought) have let one of his friends who never registered the event play his stack and allow his family the opportunity to live out their son's last tournament and winnings given to the family. I'm not the best with words but I hope I got my thought across.
They let the Australian woman's husband sub for her in the Aussie Millions.
