it's become very easy to hate on daniel, hellmuth, and a lot of the old school guys. they clearly don't have as good of a grasp on the math/theory that inform high-stakes play right now as many of the crushers do, and i'm sure they'd agree that they'd be -EV if they played whatever level of online poker you need those skills at without a lot of coaching.

that said, it's incredible how they have attained such strong results in live tournaments year over year for two-plus decades. i'd love to see a final table with a good mix of the old school guys (Hellmuth, Seidel, DN) and new gunners (Fedor, Ben86, Sontheimer)

hellmuth saying that "these kids" play 40 high rollers a year and pass the money around and catch him on the money list, and only have like 10 % of themselves. Seiver calls him out and asks how much Phil has of himself and he says 20 %.

Called himself a 14 time world champion and says he knows who the good players are so don't talk to him about rankings. All of this started because goose called his highjack opener on the button with Q8 suited.
