They wont be showing any stuff from Tourney #2 except the final table tomorrow. The same with the other 50K events but its my understanding they will show the entire 100K event.

I thought the idea was that they would show ALL of the final tables. The first day of coverage was a sort of bonus since, obviously, there was no final table to broadcast yesterday.

According to PGo's twitter, the other $50k's are starting and ending on the same day so it's unlikely that's how it'll go. No idea why in the world they played to a final table last night and didn't just finish last night and give full coverage to the second tourney. Idiots.

That doesn't seem correct. I thought the prelims are all two-day tourneys.

Was there a change in the schedule?

Let me start off by saying that I currently do not have a Poker Go subscription.

I have been on a month long vacation and I was strongly thinking about getting one because of this series. I had thought about having one before but for one reason or another, I have held off.

This series, thinking of being able to watch all the coverage, all week, for these events...it was so tempting.

WOW - Am I happy to have held back. They are not showing ANY of day 2 today???? This is fn crazy imo.

I was just assuming ( yes, I know ) that everything in this week long event was going to be televised for their subscribers.....now it is just going to be the final table for each event? ( Not counting Day one or the final 100K event )

Yesterday was just a "bonus" because they had no FT to televise with it being the first event.

I would have been extremely disappointed to have paid 10.00 and then find out I was just going to be seeing final tables.....

I had seen earlier the poster asking: " So will they be streaming Day 2 " and i honestly laughed because I was like " Oh course...wth is this question? " and just waited for someone to assure him that it would be. I come back a couple hours later and see that this is NOT the case.....

Seems lame to me.

They just confirmed on the stream they will be showing The final table of event #2 tomorrow. Looks like they will show all final tables from all events.

There seems to be some confusion here. They are broadcasting every day.

They have a special "set" where they play final tables.

They don't really have the capability to broadcast the "outer" tables.

This is the way it has always been.

There is much to criticize about PokerGO's live streams, but the above seems to be misguided or misinformed.

Yeah, I just assumed how it would be and was wrong.

Not their fault I guess, I was just disappointed.

I have never been one to trash them for the $10.00 fee. If people do not want it, do not get it. Seems pretty simple to me.

I would rather have the option, with them providing the streams, than to not have one at all.

Good coverage of the first tournament, Nothing really super exciting, I enjoyed the commentary . The FT went by fast and the Germans were certainly happy to get their stacks in the middle.
Results Spoiler Day 1
Spoiler:
Happy to see Nick win, It was kinda funny how many all ins he kept losing.

The criticism is that after the final table finishes, they could air a feature table for the event that started that day, like they did for Day 1.

That would probably be too much for current production.

Could they move a prelim table to that final table set after it is done?

Wonder why they're using Iveys image when he's not participating ? Seems like easy lawsuit if he really cared about this as there using his image to promote the event and encourage new subscribers?

What would be too much? They aired a table for all of Day 1, and changed what table that was part way through, how is this at all different?

When the schedule was first announced, I couldn't understand at all why they were having overlapping 2-day events firing on consecutive days. But seeing how they've handled the broadcast, I think it's clear that it was for cost-efficiency.

You're right, they could easily just move a group of players from a day 1 to the featured table. They just don't want to. By cramming all these events together, they get shorter production days and only have to pay their part-timers a week's pay, all while boasting daily final tables.

As for the Ivey thing, I would like to give Poker Central the benefit of the doubt and suppose that he's not making good on a verbal commitment to attend.

I would like to.

For anyone who's watched since the beginning, can someone explain the following:

Spoiler:
I'm late to this party and just started watching the $50K preliminaries replay (Day 1) and in what appeared to be the first hand Seidel picks up AA vs Tollerine's AK and they get it all in, Seidel loses to a straight but still has chips after the loss.

Whats going on here, is this a cash game or something?

If I am understanding the question, the answer is that they began broadcasting around an hour or so after the tournament began.

PokerGo really stumbled on something great with the broacasting team of Nick and Ali

During the WSOP, it seemed like Ali had a whole host of different people in the booth with him while Nick was playing - was David Williams maybe there for a bit?

Also remember Matt Berkey - because guess is he one of the few who maybe play at this level, at least some of the time? He didn't seem to be as comfortable with that Chino Rheem sort of style of maybe like ... 'street poker'? But it seemed like a lot of people kind of saw him as maybe being the closest to Nick at being able to add lots of extra little details, especially when it came to the higher-level players?

Maybe Matt Berkey might be an interesting person to add to the booth, alongside Ali and David?

PS. PH sounds a little tilted

Phil tilting after getting bluffed by Marchese.
Phil: "You guys play so differently, I wish I could play with you everyday."
Holz: "We wish that too, Phil."

Phil also stated that he has the best ROI in NLHE tournaments so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
