In theory this is correct. However, the newbie player isn't going to be attracted by these obscure events or random cash games. I think they are more inclined to be drawn in by heavily edited WSOP / WPT tournaments.
I could be wrong, but PokerGo is definitely geared towards existing players. They couldn't have honestly thought that their business model was going to attract new viewership. Right?
I think if the Super High Roller Bowl was televised on National TV and Kevin Hart was featured as he was on PokerGo, it would likely draw in new players.
