I was kinda surprised to see how little the big poker streamers make.

For comparison, Jens Knossalla who got most of his fame through poker shows on German TV and still streams a good bit of poker on his channel made $2.2mil.

keep in mind with sponorships/sub/affiliating/possibly poker direct sponsorship (eg team pro) + actually winning in poker (not for all the streamers) adds up.

i dont know a lot about jens but he is much more famous/popular than poker ppl, and makes plenty from streaming slots/gambling which obv pays a lot more than poker

Amazing how well the PokerStar's streamers do as a whole compared to the players being sponsored by other networks. I'll throw on some streams now and again and personally I enjoy alot of the guys in the middle and towards the bottom of that list alot more than the guys closer to the top. EasywithAces and Spraggy's streams took off like a rocket ship after they got sponsorship from PokerStars.

Who is truegeordie? literally never seen them streaming.

True Geordie is a big podcaster from the UK. He mostly does Football but has has all sorts of guests on. One of them was Charlie Carrell and i think Charlie coached him in poker. Havent seen any of his poker streams but i saw he was doing promotion stuff with Stars.

This is mainly because on Twitch the audience wants to give a streamer the opportunity to make streaming their job. So people who play games will get more support, which is great. Poker players are streaming their job already, and on top of that it's very clear in most cases they have money, therefore need less support.

Also, poker players have an older audience. Older audiences have a bit less of a drive to feel included through having emotes / sub badges.

I thought Veldhuis was making a few millions based on the comments here and discords. Oh well he drops like half of that to games. Surprised to see spraggy making so much at the same time. But if there is one person who deserves that (and more) is him. On a side note I wonder how much jcarver made back in the day.

apestyles deserves to be higher, maybe he will catch up.

FWIW, I think he stopped slots/gambling stuff about a year ago because of not wanting to set a bad example.

Knossi is definitely way more mainstream than your regular poker audience because people knew him from TV when he hosted celebrity poker stuff. That stuff just appeals to a way wider audience and he was able to crossover from there. Unless you're a a hardcore poker fan it's just way more likely that you follow a celeb than a real player.

Remember that is just straight money from twitch subs and whatever extra twitch gives. That doesn't include all the donations they get + special sponsorship.

I like Kevin Martin but I don't understand how he remains so comfortably off. He seems to perennially lose at poker and he's clearly not making much bank from Twitch.
