Fun trivia is that there used to be a law rebating murder convictions if the perpetrator was 21 or younger. That rebate was removed for 18-21 year olds this year. Result? The gangs now use 17 and younger for their murders instead since their maximum sentence for murder is 4 years in juvenile detention facility (I am not joking). So sweden now has dozens of teenage spree killers, because offing a couple of people and only getting 4 years the few times you get caught is pretty attractive. Basically don't **** with swedish gangs because they will send a 15 year old to massacre you with an AK he can barely hold. Or just bomb your house. That's common too now.

Its not the biker gangs that are pulling that kind of **** though. Sounds strange to say but the gangs (MC clubs etc) back in the 90s actually had some sort of moral compass. The gangs these days have 0, targeting kids and families.

Speaking of Swedish gangs, this just showed up on my YT feed. It mentioned that if you're 16 and found guilty of murder, you're given 4 years jail during which you're given an iPad which you can use to chat with your friends outside. Pretty good deal.

Edit: also that only 25% of murder cases get solved, so it's a 75% freeroll.

It's a well-known concept, it's called "brösta en fyra för att bli en hundragubbe" which translates into "chesting a 4 [year sentence] to become a hundo-guy [100% gang]".
