This guy put out a bunch of poker related youtube videos for a couple years. Never seemed to catch on much but I watched a bunch. Everything ranging from how to play AK, reviews of Ed Miller, when to jump to 2/5 live. He seemed like a young guy doing pretty well for himself, had a girlfriend, whatever.

No videos for like a year. Now he comes back with a series of videos and he's suddenly in Reno. The production quality is shot, it's mainly him holding a cellphone while walking around
at night rambling to himself. He's gained alot of weight. He looks paranoid and unhappy. As you might expect the content is mainly how much Reno sucks, games aren't good, it's too cold, too much poverty in America, poker sucks, etc.

Anyone know what happened to this guy? It seems like he really went downhill in a year. I hate to say it but can't help but wonder if there is some mental illness or addiction issues. For having tons of videos seems no one talks about him, anyone know this guy?

Agree, most of his videos now are focused on criticizing other poker vloggers.

He also keeps saying that Andrew Neeme ripped him off and stole his idea by doing poker vlogs of talking to a camera while wearing a black baseball cap.

Poker in general, and specifically poker forums or vloggers discussing vloggers, thrive on the narcissism of small differences.

Seems kind of delusional. I watched a vid of him saying Neme is his competition and noticed there were only 300 views. Then when Neme was in Reno Mark made a video challenging Neme to come meet him outside a restaurant he'd been loitering at for 12 hours.

For a hu match? A fight? Some kind of debate, who knows. Then he proclaimed it a victory when Neme never showed. Andrew probably has never heard of Mark and was playing poker not sitting in a diner all day.

OP seems pretty disingenuous. Start a thread with a feigned sympathetic, concerned post .... "Hope he's okay".

Found this really weird video from someone who clearly doesn't like the guy. Kind of difficult to watch though, I only made it a couple minutes. Seems like the whole point is to try and convince people he's gay like it's 1999 or something.

I used to watch his vlogs. Yes, seemed like his life was good.
Seemed like solid beginner advice he was giving. Seemed like he was hoping to get students through the vlogs.
So anyway. Like was stated, disappeared for a year. Then made a video about how he suffered depression for a year. He moved to Texas, his girlfriend's small hometown, supposedly.

Gave up on him soon after. Started getting more and more crazy.
To be fair to him, stopped watching most vloggers.
Didn't know he was in Reno.
He must obviously need help.

Only advice I could give him is, hey dude, I suck at poker also, cheer up!

Sadly, I watched the whole thing. Actually, I should probably say "read", as it was really just a blog post made into a crappy video - many frames of text interspersed with a few pictures and a little music mixed in. It told me more about "Poker Player X" than it did about Mark Ari, and it wasn't good. Poker Player X has rather poor spelling, and a very strange obsession about Mark Ari's effeminacy. Not sure what drives someone to make a "video" like that just tearing someone down, and doing it poorly.

Video gets 2/10, would not watch again.

I watched a few of his videos some time back because Tony BigCharles linked to him. Always struck me as weird videos. It seems like he's trying to start a feud in order to become more relevant. He keeps using pro wrestling jargon too, which makes me wonder if this is all an intentional "work" he's attempting to perform. The Mel's Diner thing is crazy weird. Does he just want to have a talk with Andrew or what?

I doubt its a work. Hes been at this for years now. And is now for some reason in Reno rambling about how cold it is (not a work) and complaining casinos should let homeless people sleep in unused rooms. Seems he has a lot of anger he hasn't caught on and is directing it at people like Neeme's chick, and is also kind of loitering around rambling all night in Reno on his phone. Its starting to be like half a poker vlog and half a mentally ill person with a phone vlog.
