yes. for example if the pot is 120k, they get it in on the flop and Isildur is a 66-33 favourite, his EV is 80k. If he wins the pot, he's running 40k over EV. If he loses, he's running 80k under.

red line is allin ev (what would come out if they equity chopped every pot) green is the actual outcome.

I have a question for those that have been here longer. I wasn't around when matronas was doing what isildur is doing. Was the hype surrounding his run comparable to what's going on with isildur or is it more intense now?

yes maybe he had some small wins when they played some lower stakes or very short sessions but this is the first significant win while he had many sessions he lost >500k.
