100/200 cap going now isi and clockwyze 3 tables.
03-12-2010 , 11:20 AM
I wish more people would play Isildur at his own game NLH, shame as i think he deserves it after playing everyone at PLO. but not going to happen as they know that Isildur would have the edge over most otherwise )
03-12-2010 , 11:22 AM
They were playing 4. Clockwyze pretty much the best cap player around.

Random question. Why is Maciek Gracz - a full tilt pro - playing 10NL, 6max NLHE ?! Weird.

There's also a huge waiting list to get onto the table.
03-12-2010 , 11:24 AM
wow, Clockw is running good!
03-12-2010 , 11:24 AM
ClockWyze is from Canada right? I'm checking his PTR and he has Malta's flag. He moved there because of low taxes on gambling? Some1 correct me if i'm wrong, i somewhere read that u have to pay 10% from your gambling winning in Malta. Why not move to Monaco where u don't have to pay anything in taxes. Is Malta better (cheaper?) place to live than Monaco? Sorry for offtopic, just curious.

maybe because he gets payed $35/h and it's variance/risk free option to play NL10 for him. if i remember there was this chinese guy who's FTP red pro and he's always playing some micros.

Broke, busto, bankrupt, finito...
03-12-2010 , 11:31 AM
Isi gone? I can't see him at any tables. HSDB has him down $36k for the day.

Unless it's changed very recently poker is tax free in Malta. Info in an interesting thread called "Where to move to play online poker? (legally and tax free)", directly from a malteaser too! Malta looks like an awesome place to be culturally.

Isi now showing as down $47k on the day.

My guess is that means he's only got $10k-$15k left in his account, so is effectively busto till his backer sends him more. Which, hopefully, will happen later today.

Thought most knew that isildur doesnt have a backer, this comes from reliable swedish sources.

He's been moving money in and out of his account from somewhere.

Steve Wong and some sexton guy play 2nl+5nl 24/7,one tabling.

Don`t see why these are FTP pro`s either, cause they have some live winnings?

idk, most likely luckboxed some live donkament and got sponsorship deal. anyway, if he plays for 10h he's making $350 + 100% rakeback + winning in a day, i guess he could squeeze $400 in a day at those limits playing 10h. and if he's 1 tabling, i think most likely half of that time there's his wife or kids playing. i would do same lol.

Hands off of Steve!

Steve Wong is a very nice guy, popular Dutch pro.

He's probably single-tabling the 2NL while driving as is shown from 39:25u in following clip:
KRO 'the reunion' with Steve Wong

I think having your kid play 2nl for 35$/hour is a pretty good idea. The kid will learn the value of a day's labor, develop the notion of working hard for your lunch money, and will probably realize it's great to be a moron and still luckbox a tournament.

Oh right, ok makes sense. You'd think that they (FT pro's) wouldn't bother considering they've made millions in live tournies etc. I guess maybe FT makes them do it just to attract people to the tables.

yea plus who is gonna turn down 35$ per hour to grind. if you are a break even player its a simple math way to make 70k a year....
