k so have communicated with lewis and we have made an agreement.

We both could of handled the situation better and should of clarified what % we were swapping in the first place. Lewis would of paid me 5% if he had won, in which case i do owe him 5%. I genuinely didnt think we had swapped 5% tho. I got lazy with the situation and then came to vegas.

This thread has de-railed pretty badly as usual, but there has been some good advice in it.
I am home from vegas at the weekend (hopefully later than that) and the agreement myself and lewis will be met by this time next week. I think he will be posting here to confirm this.

Im sorry for some of my responses in this thread, but it was obv pretty tilting to read so much negativity about myself at anytime but especially when im playing the biggest poker torny of my life and away from home. Also over what is clearly a misunderstanding / down to bad communication.

Some of the trolling in this thread was not needed, but i guess to be expected.

Wont be checking back here for a while now as playing main event in morning and stuff, but i fullx expect lewis to post here soon and confirm everything i have just written.

thanks, marc
The only thing I've said (agreement?) about the situation is that I will try and get these threads locked if I receive full payment. This was said through Skype via a friend - not directly.

Sounds like OP was on a bit of a freeroll.. mention a 5% swap to someone, if they don't cash then it's forgotten, and if they do cash, claim you thought there was an agreement

Anyway.. OP says that a 5% swap was agreed; villain says that it wasn't. For people reading this thread who don't know either of the players involved, why should we take OP's word over villain's? Both stories could be embellished.

because only one of the people involved has history as a scammer?

Level?

Marc agreed to pay multiple times in the skype logs.

I'm pretty sure he still owes at least a handful of people. He's getting paid out to his stars account so there really shouldn't be any excuses not to pay this time.
If he gets paid into his stars account then why did he have to change euros to £££'s like he says in the skype convo with the OP?

OP why didn't you just accept a smaller sum? better than nothing...

Why do you expect only a kick in the shins when you know damn well a boot in the balls is what you deserve for a comment like that.

Really hope this is a troll/level. Surely no-one can sincerely be that stupid about something such as this. On the off chance that it is...

1) OP deserves full repayment and shouldn't have to settle for a penny less just because villian is a scammer/angle-shooter.
2) How is that even remotely an argument for something like this (or ANYthing for that matter), on the basis that something is better than nothing? What if someone burgled your house and took your possessions, and then offered you just 1 item back, because it's better than nothing, you'd be **** furious and rightly so!
It makes zero sense and OP should get exactly what is rightfully his. If ANYthing he should be payed more for being fked about like this, not less.

well, obviously he deserves the full sum. that wasn't really my point. he's getting nothing, right now. maybe this shaming will work.

i think the ev of accepting 2k-2.5k is better than yet another "shaming" post, though.
07-12-2012 , 06:39 PM
Classic "Oh no they're onto me, think I had better pay up". Obviously realised the amount of abuse he was/probably still is going to take, especially now there's a mug-shot floating about.

If he takes a single penny less than what he is owed, villain wins
07-12-2012 , 06:42 PM
If he pays up - I say give him another chance

Everyone is entitled to change for the better

If he doesn't pay, then it's hopeless

This.

I have no clue how people can argue that we can talk about the EV of something over nothing here. It's not about any sort of $$$ EV here, that's the exact reason why scammers screw people.
If OP doesn't get everything he's owed, it's total bs.

You can't let the scammers win, just because you lose hope of getting back what's rightfully yours, purely because the scammer is a total dbag and it's unlikely he pays back. It's not OP's responsibility or perogative to get as much as he can, he deserves and should get ALL of it.

MW is listed as 2nd in chips with 880K going in to last level of D3. 882 remaining, 666 paid. Where is the karma for this POS?
