I bet the WPT will not return to Turk & Caicos anytime soon.
6th place pays $0.00. The money bubble will bust on the TV table. TV poker history!!! That will be fun to watch.

The full prizepool is available in the live updates at WorldPokerTour.com. I'll repost them here for your convenience:

1st: $436,675
2nd: $225,000
3rd: $125,000
4th: $70,000
5th: $50,000
6th: $30,000
7th: $25,000
8th: $20,000
9th: $15,000

Tournament Director Jack McClelland allowed the players to vote on the prize distribution. Should they keep the guaranteed million dollars locked up for first place, or spread the wealth a bit? The overwhelming majority voted to pay more players.

So not only is this event NOT $1MM for first like advertised, the casino is not even paying the layover!! Ridiculous.

I would be causing a huge scene if I was in Turks playing this event. What a scam.

edit: layover/overlay same thing

Nothing pisses me off more then a scam. I'm not even at this event and I'm getting angry.
