Until this moment, I had no idea the peso was at about 25 per USD. For most of my adult lifetime, it has always hovered around 10. Or maybe it just seemed like that – not exactly something I follow. It has been in the high teens for a few years, didn't know that, either.
Assuming Dude's story is true, I wonder what happened immediately after? Bart says something like "I don't know how the other guy lets you take that pot."
By the way, the comment thread in any poker-related YouTube video is always worth a few lulz. This one is no exception. My favorite is the guy who says if there is an all-in and a call, all cards must be exposed ("it's a fact"). I don't fault anyone for getting interested in poker because he watched a tournament on TV back in the day. Many of us – and yes, I say "us" because it includes myself – fall into that category. But that guy then makes himself out to be some authority. Again, the lulz.
Finally, are we sure it's pesos, and not petros? 'Cause this guy sounds a lot like Ivan Freitez.
