How about his idea: Reverse PLO.

Everyone gets 5 cards in their hands, 4 community cards and they must play 2 of the 4 community cards with 3 of their cards in their hands. Thus, reverse PLO.

I think this would make it much harder to calculate odds of winning since you have no clue what people are playing in their hands based on the 4 community cards out.

What do you think? Sounds fun to me for some reason.

So you want more variance than PLO? And how do the 4 cards come out? 3 on the flop and just a turn?

we've played this occassionally for a few years in my game, except with the normal 5 community cards. we call it "mindf***". it's a stupid game but what's cool is that sometimes people forget you can flop a boat even if the board doesn't pair, so somebody with the nut flush might go to town forgetting that fact.

Good question. I was thinking, you each get 5 to start, betting round, then 2 on the flop, 1 turn 1 river, but if there are better variants, I'd be happy to hear it.
