Yeah, the guy's lack of comprehension is incredible. I actually said the following (how does he not get it - last two sentences in particular):

One of the funniest Gabe-Polov dynamics has been when Gabe (after swearing for the third or fourth time that he was done posting in this thread ... {guess that word of his is not "as good as gold" after all}) came back to commend Polov on his intelligence and basically suck up to him.

The funniest part about that was that Gabe did that DESPITE POLOV NOT ONLY SAYING THAT GABE WAS WORTHY OF RIDICULE FOR HIS ABSURD CLAIMS, BUT ALSO HAVING CHALLENGED HIM TO A FISTFIGHT. Wow, does that say something about Gabe's self-esteem or what? It's almost too sad to be funny. Almost.

Meanwhile, Polov the raging bull spews hatred mixed with complete idiocy towards everyone, suddenly stops and flirts (including using terms like "you are cool in "mah" book" (the "mah" clearly spelled that way to sound cool) when he finds out that one of his targets is a woman, and then after getting owned and ridiculed over and over again by everyone, completely misses blatant over the top sarcasm from me and literally wants to fly from Miami to Boston (and believes that it is a sign from God that I live in the city where his flight transfers) to fight me.

Until a few days ago, I was agitated by this thread and Gabe's cowardice and antics, because I was looking and expecting an easy 40K. But now that I have given up on it, I am fully appreciating the thread for the comic relief that these two knuckleheads are providing. For now, I'll give the edge to Gabe: the volume and sheer lunacy of his drivel, as well as his kindergarten level spelling and grammar, just barely shade it for me over Polov and his amusing difficulties with reading comprehension and basic logic.

Are HU matches really supposed to include stipulation that neither player offends the other?! Come on! Pushing each others buttons is all part of the process! Just wanted to point out another reason this match was unlikely.

I don't think that would have been any deterrent whatsoever if Gabe was serious about playing. Of course I wanted to play for more, but 40K of easy money is more than enough for me to fly to Missouri, Podunkville, or anywhere else for a few days.
