If you believe this then you are truly delusional. Just be honest and admit you were scared to play samoleus and were looking for any reason to back out.

Yeah, either Gabe 'All Talk' is a masterful troll or he has legitimate mental problems - but if that's the case, why would he back out of playing samo? I'm thinking he's just trolling.

Let's face it, being a meh-reg in a podunk casino must get quite boring, so challenging far better players and then ducking out is probably a thrill to a certain kind of person.

The most funny thing are the ones that know me that will see me in the poker room or on the tournament circuit one day & they'll have to look me in the face knowing they were in the wrong & knowing they talk **** to someone that not only plays better than them, but is willing to play & has more integrity.
what are their names? im sure we know them since all the best players in the world play there

Not that it really matters, but the Beau Rivage poker room is one of the best poker rooms outside of Vegas IMO.

Carry on, please.

Dude, He's not trolling, not even in the slightest bit. I can say this with complete confidence. As impossible as it may seem, he is 100% serious.

I just looked at the Beau's site to see upcoming entertainment, low and behold I saw Gabe Costner, Comedian, Aug. 24th-Aug.27th!

Wow, i dont post here much, but this thread made my day. Seeing that this guy won over 1 million dollars in tournaments (even though he's mostly a cash game player) and is making a good living out of poker makes me believe that I actually might have a bright future in poker

Keep those posts coming, Gabe, and never stop believing in rigged online games and jedi-mindtrick-like live soulreads

I thought he was this EXACTLY, I'm now dumbfounded to find out this character is real, scary stuff, nice thread!!

I stand corrected and apologise to anyone (other than 'All Talk') who took offence at my mischaracterisation.

In that case...wow, just wow. How do you know this, is it merely a consistent internet persona or do you know him in real life?

I'm pretty real, This is results on less than 150 tournaments, I'm a cash player. This is my last post in this thread unless someone PM about wanting to play. I will be in Biloxi, Well Just mainly talking about playing. You see I don't really like to do the actual playing, but I like to talk about how good I could be if I did. And again I'll talk about playing ANYONE, At least for 40k

Yes, as previously stated, I lived in Biloxi (where Gabe lives) for about a year and nearly everyone in city knows of Gabe's late night drunken rants about how everything is rigged against him. I mean I can only hope some day someone is brilliant enough to create such an elaborate level and just crush everyone, but I'm afraid today will not be that day.

Amazing thread, just keeps delivering.

Anyone want to lay odds on Gabe returning? Very similar to Haseeb Quereshi's endless "this is the last blog on the Girah scandal before I backpack across Europe and leave poker for good" lines.

Next time you hear someone say, "He won $X,XXX,XXX, why would he do something so stupid?" refer to this thread and other recent scandals.

That's actually pretty sad. The drinking problem + paranoia + delusions pretty clearly point to an unhappy life for Mr. Costner. I wish him well and hope he gets therapy.

We need someone who is willing to fly there and play him for 40K!

Does Cates care enough about 40K to do that? Jungleman vs GAbe would be epicccc

I don't know whether to be jealous or sympathetic that you know him personally. Is he like this with everything? As in 'My burger was cold, McD's is rigged against me', 'gas prices went up, OPEC is rigged against me' and so on?

Saying you're level headed and objective and then saying you have been cheated online by 90% of coolers going in the wrong direction over a 7 figure sample... well, you're either the stupidest person to ever grace these forums or this is a fairly well constructed level

All Talk has already left this thread once, threatening never to come back again, yet here he is. That's twice by my count that he's said that he'd never post in this thread again.

Also, it's funny that he issued another challenge to any online player even though won't play the one that accepted.

I PMd OP about the match, I'm an all online player and would put my chances of winning at around 95%.

His open challenge to online players only applies to ones who don't accept the challenge. It's an unusual interpretation of the word 'challenge' but I suspect it's the only way 'All Talk' uses it.

To be sure, as a "random" in this thread, I haven't taken sides. I would still love to see this match happen, especially now, and I think it'd be fun to make a friendly wager.

Just in case its unclear to anybody, when Gabe"All Talk"Costner says he'll challenge any online player he doesn't mean that he's actually challenging people. Its just a figure of speech he likes to use. The more you know.
