Last 10 posts are on the line, and the thread is already derailed to the HU match. Gabe says he thinks he's 80%+ to win, so I'm asking Gabe if he wants my line. If he's willing to take a better line for him because it's the available (and Samoelus's action is full), I'm willing to as well.

Gabe wouldn't play for more than 40k. He probably won't take very much, if any, of the 125k samoleus is offering. It's pretty obvious if you've read the last few pages of the thread.

That being said I'll put 10k up at -200 for gabe, so now there's 135k in front of you.

I did not read the whole thread so I did not know. There's also the possibility that someone else than Gabe is taking up a good chunk of samo's action.

EDDtown, if you really believe this, why are you not liquifying some of those assets that you say you have tied up in the stock market and agree to play me for higher stakes?

If you understand the stock market, surely you know that you will never find an investment that will offer you a 100% immediate return on your money with only a 20% risk of loss? I mean, even if you are the best trader in history, playing a HU match against someone against whom you are an 80+% favorite is far far better than any proposition you can find in the stock market - particularly in this economic period.

If you believe what you are saying, may I respectfully ask why you won't agree to play for a greater amount?

I think you know the answer to that already . I have more people than myself to be responsible for. Ive already made a couple of big mistakes with money management in my life, so I've told you what I'm willing to play for.


I'm not an investor anyway, Im a trader so I play both sides of the market, which isn't really relevant to anyone but myself.


And I hope you don't take my comments the wrong way, you seem to be one if the best online & have accomplished something most players dream of, maybe I would take you another online player, however We are not playing online & I would say the same thing against anyone but a handful of players & they all play live

That being said, I don't know your financial situation and respect the fact that 40K is all you are able to play for. I am looking forward to the match. Please respond once you are able to arrange a venue and handle the other logistics.
