Saw this on the Joeyingram podcast and thought it was interesting, Lex Veldhuis telling his recollections of Antonio I LOVE AMERICA.

Is it common knowledge that Antonio is in fact an awful human bean?

When someone asks you to dinner and then you suddenly come up with four extra guys who you want to bring with, is it that strange he isn't cool with it? Why be such a dick about it? Just let it go and reschedule for when your friends aren't around.

I have no opinion either way, but Lex tells more stories about Antonio that are negative in this podcast.

played a decent amount with antonio, agree with raszi, he is kind of on point.

denies me action but still is a huge douche.

he's good at lodden though and tries to get people there, but **** at poker

In 2007, when I worked in a clothing boutique in San Francisco, I recognized Antonio Esfandiari as he walked in with a beautiful lady. The browsed the store separately. The star struck 20 year old kid I was, I bombarded him with questions which he was kind enough to answer. He picked up a shirt and without breaking the conversation, took off his shirt bearing his hairy chest and tried it on. The two ended up not purchasing anything. I thanked them both for coming in, and that was it.

I watched the whole podcast live and I have to say that Lex seems right with what he says about Antonio.

It seems Antonio likes to 'big-time' people and likes attention a bit too much. He's probably still a alright person in general, but he's no angel.

It is more about "You are new here,and I am asking you for dinner,and you are about to turn me down?" part that makes Esfandiari a douche.

Those things you pointed don't really make either of them douches,you missed the whole point.

The dude makes flyers for his Bday and then tweets them out. Sounds pretty douchey.

He also is never wearing shoes at tv or live stream tables. That just seems like attention seeking behavior and douchey. People have called him out on that before.

He is also a huge media whore but not as bad as DN or PH. He doesn't really claim to be good at poker but he is having a great life traveling around with his dad and friends and really wants you to know it.

I think it was more Antonio having the whole 'look your new here' attitude when he asked to bring friends that tilted Lex, not just that he wasn't allowed to bring his friends. Antonio didn't have to be all Mr big shot about it.

The rest of the video is great I have to say, Lex is a good dude in general.

Quit drinking though, lol. If you're reading this, what is your tennis rating? I think we're about the same strength, I'd play you when you're back in Holland. I'm a 4.

I would have an opinion here, but I'm afraid of getting kicked in the head by Lex if I ever see him because I know he will think I'm a douchebag for stating it. So I don't.
