We have to assume they didn’t unless we want to believe the WSOP is willing to risk their gaming license.

The only thing slightly in ACRs favor is that they don’t offer games in Nevada and New Jersey, so they are at least not direct competitors of WSOP.com

The reality is ACR isn't offering "50 WSOP Packages", they are just using this lingo as a gimmick.

In reality ACR is only offering "50 $12,500 Cash Packages", and the satellite winners can do want they want with the cash. I would put the over/under on how many winners actually withdraw and take cash to WSOP cage at well under 50%.

Why WSOP would want to put up a stink over this is beyond me, other than protecting that craphole product 888 that routinely confiscates player funds with little recourse.

Is WSOP going to go after every small town card club that has their own "WSOP Satellite" (even though winner is paid in cash)?

I think WSOP just put out their tweet to make it clear that if somehow ACR goes belly up, or gets shut down by the Feds, WSOP isn't obligated to honor these "Packages", even though the "Package" was just a cash prize.

I didn't read all response, and may be missing something, but I see no problem with what they've done on that page. They are not claiming to be affiliated with WSOP at all, that I saw. It is not illegal to mention other companies, or say that you will buy people into services provided by other companies. They are not in any way I saw denigrating the brand of WSOP. So I don't see the problem.

Edit: I am not a legal mind, just someone who has passing knowledge of copyright/trademark/fair use law.

This. There is essentially no way a judgment could ever be enforced against ACR.
