So if you have 5 million, and you cant really spend it, do you really have 5 million?
He may not be able to spend it on a $2 million dollar house and $150,000 dollar Ferrari but he still gets to spend in on lobster, a hooker and a room at a 4 star hotel 3 times a week for the next 30 years. I'd take it!!!

The DOJ explicitly stated in the second round of indictments that it was lederer and bitar who jointly decided together to falsley misrepresent to players that their money was safe and segregrated. How can he think anyone will ever give him a pass after that? What a ****ing *******.

Dear Howard,

First of thanks for sharing your thoughts. As you can imagine we are all quite angry but i can imagine the whole mess must be very sad for you as well. You went from being one of the most powerful people in poker to being in trouble legally, financially and everybody hates you. How does it feel to come falling this far for you personally. How are you gonna deal with that and how are you looking at the future.

i honestly think for the right price, you can get anything you want....if lederer had a stash of cash, he could just live off the grid and buy everything with straight cash.kind of like drug dealers that can't deposit 400k in a bank account without some explanation...def not the life he is used to, but better than being homeless in the vegas storm drains and giving bj's on the vegas strip

Dear Howard,

fulltilt managed to built one of the strongest poker brand. The best software, the best marketing and branding and the best team. It is very sad to me that this brand now is basically lost (unless stars sells it).
How come the financial side of it was so flawed and let to loosing the entire asset. What would you do differently if you had to do it again.

What would you have done differently if you coud turn back time.

Seems intresting so if he says he didn't make a lot of mistakes and bittar made the biggest ones. I'm sure he will say bittar made the biggest mistakes.

I only wish PokerNews included voiceover commentary from a Polygraph expert. Regardless, this should be good.
Not a bad idea. I'm sure someone could make this happen once the video is posted.

Kind of crazy that Lederer purchased a 2012 A8L Quattro in the middle of this controversy. I understand the dude still needs to live, but purchasing a luxury automobile while thousands were without a significant portion of their net worth is beyond belief.

Yeah but he waits til pokerstars buys tiltware with a deal that players will be paid their money

so it wasn't due to legal reasons that he didn't come foward eariler as Doyle thought, after all he is still in deep **** with the DOJ

I think he wanted to wait for a more understanding forgiving atmosphere, but i doubt he'll gets it, still i'l reserve judgement to listen to what he has to say

I won't say there is 0% that he won't have anything that can be said that will mitigates what he did and is accused of doing after all I do have my suspicions of what the U.S. government does too.

I'm stunned that HL is doing this before the legal case is signed sealed and delivered (and moreover that he has confirmation from Preet and Co. that he's not the target of further charges). Something feels really off about all of this -- he's likely got very high-priced legal representation...whose first piece of advice would have been: don't say nothin' to nobody.

There may not be criminal charges yet, but unless there are development of which I'm unaware, there's no guarantee that there won't be in the future. I've never practiced criminal law. But this feels like a terrible move. Oh well, count me among the popcorn.gif crowd for now. But yeah: wtf. Something's off.

The fact that this man wont end up in prison disgusts me. I hope he's ostracized from the poker world for life and never sits down at a table again.
