For 6-max, even if there is one not-so-great reg and 5 decent ones, you are splitting up what little of his money from leaks is left after rake with 4 others. Huge waste of time IMHO.

But of course every reg thinks he is God's gift to poker, and the other 5 regs are there to be exploited, and he just can't wait to outplay the others. Meanwhile the other 5 are thinking the same thing.

All the people in this thread who say anything along the lines of 'How can he whine about making 1 Mil/yr' are realllllllllly dumb.

First of all, its sad to hear a well known player whine about bad runs - he should know better.

Second, whats the probabilty that HE runs worse than most online player in the world? LOL, im not too certain this is the case.

Now, from hes videoblogs earlier on, i saw 2 but got semisick watching - i saw this monsterarrogant guy pretty much feeling he owned the online pokerworld. Give such a guy recistance for a while and he will cry like only girls can do. Oh but he is soo good, he can run horrible and still make money, HAHA. A joke that is. Games are ridic harder now as we all know, but im sure Leatherass wont agree, again cause hes so arrogant and has a bigger ego than most (wich is needed to succeed for sure, but will also be a severe disadvantage at times).

I saw some hh, and it seems he whines in chat during games as well. Obv every player sees hes dropping and adapts, calls him down lighter cause he doesnt run too hot and OBV it affects hes game (OMG he claims to still play A-game - i mean, this just shows the self-awereness-part is not present at all). Im would guess hes not adapting to the circumstances properly and runs like everyone else. The effect of dswing might be harder on him and the ego that helped him up now puts him in the other direction. Its called variance and it feeds u.

That's pretty much what it comes down to. Who are we to tell LA what he can and cannot get frustrated about? It just seems like if you're a winning/crushing poker player that you're simply not allowed to express any type of frustration (simply because you make crapload of money) or people will simply go nuts about it, it happened with Raptor's blog and now it's happening with LA's blog.

You can't prevent people from being human, a MSNL/HSNL player like LA will experience frustration just as much as a Micro-stakes player based on their own perceptions of their game/past success, etc and you can't criticize them for it.

Guy runs bad and complains about it. Whatever. Like there's a single person on this site who hasn't had a day/week/month where they thought to themselves exactly what he wrote. Most people just don't have a blog read by tons of people, though. Was it immature to post it on his coaching site? Sure. But any single one of us could have written the exact same thing if caught on a really bad day. I think all the hate is a denial of the part of every poker player that has thought those exact same things at one time or another. We despise most in others what we despise in our self...

iirc though, he has said before he is going to quit because he runs so bad. All I've heard in my months here is that LeatherAss runs blah blah

i play 2/4 and 3/6, game select v little, and have a v nice WR so i will def keep it up IMO.

The point seems to be that whining is prohibited, even if he's right. Especially if he has won a lot.

To me LA's point is that he shared his feelings and nothing's wrong with that.
