On the above page it states that LNP used them in 1999, but that they'd been patented back in 1995. Was there a show that used them before LNP?

i've always heard Late Night Poker was the first to use hole cards but could be convinced otherwise.

quite funny how the poker table is so humongous that the players have a hard time both tossing cards into the muck as well as chips into the pot. they had to have an extra dealer's assistant on hand to help the dealer retrieve chips she couldn't reach at times...

jesse may is the commentator and he doesn't sound annoying (very calm and relaxing in fact). i wonder how he managed to become the most annoying commentator in poker in such an impressively short amount of time. he was unbearable on the live FTP cash games!
