I think gambling addiction in general is an interesting topic and I'd love to show the dark side of poker as well. I'm not sure how realistic that is though, since you'd have to find people who are willing to tell their stories on camera, and us being based in Finland would make it pretty difficult to set anything up with English-speaking people especially (we'd need several of them all based in the same location, we'd have to set everything up remotely, and then hope covid won't mess up with the travel plans... etc). But I hope we can find a way to do this one way or another.

Great stuff. Would love to see a "day in the life of" for whatever person you're interviewing. I realize that may not be feasible, however.

The filming of S2 is scheduled to begin next month, although as per usual covid might mess everything up (and it already cancelled our first scheduled trip). Got some pretty cool stuff planned, really hope it works out. Pending major disasters season 2 premiere should take place at some point this spring!

I thought it was a very great watch, job well done. Also agree it's not a problem that it's static, that's just how a poker doc should be Imo. Personally I think a part on the "dark side" of poker is not really needed, of course gambling addiction is an important topic, but I don't think this doc is the place. Especially since most problem gamblers don't exclusively play poker, so would be more in place about a doc about gambling.

Thanks everyone Spent the last five months or so filming season 2, just wrapped up the season. We have 23 guests total for S2 (as opposed to three on S1). I don't have the exact timeline yet, but I'm hopeful we'll get the episodes out in late summer. Half or so of the content, and two whole episodes are entirely in English, so there will be less subtitles to deal with. We'll start filming S3 in about 10 days as well.

Nope. Although I couldn't resist firing one bracelet event while filming in Vegas this summer (no results to write home about). I enjoy firing the occasional live donkament, and I can foresee myself playing like 3 events per year when it aligns with my travels. That's pretty much it tho.

This is accurate, we did a pretty major gear overhaul for S2 that resulted in much better image and sound quality.

Chicago was awesome. We spent 7 days filming there, I know people hate it but I actually liked the deep dish pizza.

We filmed at an underground game where -- IIRC -- the 8 people playing had 9 WSOP Bracelets between them or something to that extent. One of our film crew members wanted to participate in the game until he realized he couldn't afford it I love mixed games myself (although I suck at them), so it's nice to get the word out about their awesomeness.
