What is the fascination with motive? as if anything could explain the "WHY" of this..
It seems People do not understand psychopathy. Or have a baseline idea of what it actually takes to perform acts of this nature.

Some people just want, need or are obsessed with causing devastation. Some have the combined need to be infamous for their acts and some are simply content with their actions alone without the credits. Nothing in this world could compel myself to act out that way, and that is true of 99% of society.

All evidence suggests there was no "motive" other than self indulgence in a grotesque act. I don't see much of a difference from Dahmer, if we could understand truly, then we would be psychotic as well..

Perhaps you should go beyond an introductory class and take an evidence or trial tactics class before you continue your argument.

For a guy as smart as he was, this is literal 80 IQ thinking, he was clearly very successful at a variety of things in his life, yet he thinks killing tons of random people is going to make America more pro gun?????? And why would he then shoot up a country concert where the people are extremely pro gun???

Whatever his "motives" were, he was an angry psychopath who was on anti-anxiety meds which there is strong correlation according to anectdotal evidence. His "motives" are just an excuse to commit mass murder then suicide.
