Does anyone have a link to the story about the man who made a bet that he would stay inside a restroom for 6 months?

Same guy made a prop bet to have a breast implant operation and to keep it for some time.

Landon should have a breast implant and keep it for a year the entire time he is in Bally's.

brian zembic is that guy's name and here's a brief summary of his prop bets.

i'd imagine you were thinking of this prop bet though (or rather, the one referenced at the top of the OP.)

The whole point of a prop bet is to be almost impossible but the money makes people try. Someone comes up with 5 milly you bet people would try those things and it would be actually interesting to see. No one wants to see whether some NEET loser manages to stay inside a hotel for a year - what a f'in stupid bet..

Also, some guy already did all of those 4 things in the early 80s.

define getting jumped. someone attempting to rob you? someone starting a physical altercation with you?

are you allowed to pay/bribe someone for protection?

i thought he suggested one year (not one month) on skid row and if that were the case you'd have a better chance of getting killed on death row within one year of your sentencing.

I’m still not seeing how this is so easy given all the potential unforseen circumstances. Besides some sort of medical issue, what if there is a fire alarm or a bomb threat? And I do think a strip casino is going to look suspiciously on someone staing there for more than a month, especially if someone else is paying for it.

It’s not really part of calculus per se, should be ironed out in the beginning if he’s forced to move out out due to no fault of his own.

Agree with others that this bet seems pretty meh

With the bet where guy went into the bathroom in the dark for a month we were debating if psychological damage would be permanent. Here we are debating how good he will get running poker sims

If the dude was interesting he'd be setting up interesting prop bets. He's not an entertainer, he's a kid who wants to be good at poker and wants to be famous for it. He's only one of those things, so Paddy "paying" 100k to make him relevant to the front page of NVG for a few months is a good marketing cost.

My porta potty prop bet idea would need to be climate controlled and possibly handicapped that way a cot could fit inside to prevent back injury when sleeping, but I'd be willing to consider any and all prop bet. I'd probably do anything in between the degree of the porta potty and Landon having first-world problemz in a Vegas air conditioned casino.

I think you're right to a large degree, but it may not be a trust fund. Just parental cash + heater and getting propped up by Joey Ingram One because Joey subconsciously knows that Landon is his physical/spiritual son. (Their facial structures are so similar that it boggles my mind.)

On The solveforwhy daily podcast two days ago (the episode removed from youtube for copyright strike) Berkey and crew discussed how he thinks Landon shouldn't accept the bet for anything under 250k but Landon was negotiating 100k , also that Landon ended up with a huge tax bill because he sold action all year but took on full tax burden - idk if that factors in at all on wanting another bet or not

I'm not sure if any of you have stayed at Ballys, but it is one of the older casinos on the strip with absolutely terrible air filtration. The casino smells like cigarette smoke really bad. For a non smoker , I couldn't imagine smelling that everyday.
