Word. Some of them just want to gamble, I doubt someone that plays 90/0 and is losing at +20BB/100 over thousands of hands will start reading 2+2 and improve.

You guys are also assuming that everybody that posts/read on 2+2 is a winning player.

i think if you really want to make an impact with all this you need the regs in the higher stakes 200-1000nl to support this. id suppose to get into these pokerstars regs chats in the different NL holdem sections. people there wont be thrilled to lose 3-4h grinding time every sunday, so forget about that.
i´d try to get ONE big strike in 4-5 weeks time.
take one or two weeks to get in talk with the regs in this chats (not just post a link; talk to them; convince them).
take two weeks to get everyone to know about. higher stakes regs in general have good working networks which theyd use to spread the word if you happen to convince them its necessary to.

I personally deceided now to make a deposit at every french pokersite. Then I will every time open the max number of allowed tables and just sit out, all day long.
Cost me nothing, just a bit of time. I'm running a small company, so I can do that in my office as well as in my house.

If there is only a small number of players doing it the same way we can disrupt the traffic of a site at least at a certain limit quite well.

Under current conditions I'm not playing a single cashgame hand thats for sure.

Do you honestly think that telling people about 2p2 is going to have a significant impact on the dead money cash pool?

There are plenty of recreational players who have no interest in spending their time reading an internet forum.

There are also plenty of players who want to be winners but bauk at the type of information that is available on 2p2.

I know plenty of players who love poker, some think they are winners, most know they are not. They do not relate well to the type of information available on this site.

Most of them have jobs and they just do it for the gamble.

Reading books and websites or crunching numbers just isn't poker to them.

telling people about 2+2 is not a good thing.

so... if every fish started lurking 2+2 their winrates would stay the same because they are too stupid to understand some pretty basic concepts that may help them to gain an edge because they just love to loose over and over.

When I started playing poker I would watch Phill Hellmuth infomercials and be amazed about how much money you could make against those magalomaniacs slowplaying pocket queens, six months later I was a break even player until I discovered 2+2 and started to learn a lot of stuff that phill hellmuth and gus hansen were not saying on those vids.

I hope big pokersites and some country can help us on this...

If this continues, more and more European players will have to move to the UK.

Business idea for someone out there:

Ask Mason to donate a banner ad to encourage people not to tell other poker players about 2p2. If we try hard enough, we can stop anyone from ever joining 2p2 again, and I think this thread is the place we can finally accomplish this dream.
