Is it really about twitter and Instagram though?? IMO the people FTP signed on were a lot more motivating than an American actor would be. Then again most of team FTP are either broke or scammers now.

I would say he is probably only really well known in North America. Fans of his movies/comedy in other countries would know him but the general public probably not as much. Whereas the likes of Ronaldo were probably more well known outside of the US.

I had to google Kevin Hart. No idea who he is but I hope he is learning Russian. Oh yeah. Kevin, uh, congrats on getting money from the 90 per cent of players that every day unknowingly donate to the 'hire an already rich celeb' slush fund.

It's a great signing. His Netflix special even had a poker scene as the intro, if the dude likes poker and is famous then it's great for poker, it's certainly better than signing a random slovenian 2/4 grinder or a washed up tv pro or a sports star that doesn't even play poker on a regular basis.

They've probably signed him for their NJ site, if he likes poker then that already puts him ahead of the other "celebrities" they've had over the years. Maybe they're hoping to expand into other states and plan to use him for publicity.

Not sure he's all that famous outside of the US, I'd never heard of him anyway.

The only thing I've seen him in was 40 year-old virgin, in which he apparently plays "smart tech customer", but I don't remember him.

Obviously people who go to the cinema a lot might recognise the face.

EDIT: If it's for NJ then ok if he's famous there.
