The only thing him winning these massive SNG's proves is that Karma is a myth.

Congrats to Justin Bonomo for the huge win.

And how about Fedor? Not half bad for a semi-retired guy.

A bit off topic, but leading up to Bonomos win...

"Right after that, a huge pot developed when Byron Kaverman shoved for 8 million at 300,000/600,000/600,000. Fedor Holz called, and Rick Salomon reshoved for 26.9 million. Holz found the call button with tens — after Salomon's ace was exposed — and found himself in a good spot against ace-king of hearts held by Salomon and ace-five of clubs shown by Kaverman."

Was the guys Ace actually exposed for some reason like dealer error, or at least before the preflop action was complete? Bit freaky, but Fedor probably calls with TT their regardless, due to the good chance of it being something exactly like it was (AK and Ax great 3 way action for TT)

No, he was just holding his cards like an idiot.

This is one reason why writing in passive voice is frowned upon.

"Salomon's ace was exposed" - Did it magically expose itself?

"Salomon exposed an ace" -

Yeah, that quote was from the tournament summary. I would guess they described it clearly in the actual hand but I was too lazy to find it.

at this moment is Justin, especially when it comes to the HU match

Fedor got the best of luck in most hands after ITM
but Justin worked his way, like successfully bluffing with his remaining 99% chips 15mils with nothing, overbet and Fedor called with very weak pair, trapping Fedor with two pairs etc.

It's quite amazing to watch and I realize I gotta work a lot in these spots.

Rick Salomon is hiding in plain sight as one of the best players in the game. He's only played 3 tournaments in the past 6 years. Every one of those 3 was the Big One For One Drop. He's taken 4th twice and third once.

Play one tournament every two years and average over two million dollars $ROI each time. Must be a nice life.

He also beat Andy Beal for $40 million heads-up once.
