I guess it's good for the poker economy at least? More money paid to more people.

Still definitely a letdown for the lotto poker crowd.

I thought it would be $1M as well. I'm sure most of the players thought so as well with more than $11M in the prize pool.

absolutely absurd for this event

not sure if they planned on doing this tournament again in future years but this will look very bad

so many rec players taking their $500 shot at what most probably thought would be > 1.5 mill (given the prize pool)

1st place $ here is not even 6% of prizepool - That's embarrassing. No tournament winner should ever get less then 10% for winning.

What were you thinking WSOP? Didn't pokerstars run an anniversary tournament where first gets a million on a $215 buyin.
