Who's actually left the States because of Black Friday? Where did you pick as your newly adopted city/country and how are you adjusting to it so far...any unexpected surprises with the relocation? (Customs-Immigration/Poker Sites/People you've met?). Do you think it's gonna be worth it (aka are you homesick yet?)

There's gotta be a couple of places that are gonna get hot for relocation...if I knew how to plot players' responses on Google maps I would...

I relocated to Mexico and got mugged my first week there. The mugging made me -EV $857 and on top of that the sad thing is I am on a -23 BI swing since moving. I am able to play on stars and my normal stakes are 1/2 and 2/4 sometimes i play 3/6 no limit cash games.

Moved to Montreal; absolutely loving it. Beautiful place, really nice people.

Running 30 BI's above EV since relocating for a total of 50 BI's, actually never ran better in my entire life (or simply above EV, for that matter...)

Obviously would be happy if a decent bill allowing international pools such as Rep. Barton's were passed, but I'm perfectly happy moving around the world with my laptop in the meantime for 3-6 months at a time.

That's one of the reasons we're so lucky to do what we do.
How many other professions allow you to work and make money from almost anywhere in the world with just an internet connection?
