I dont see Galfond vs Berri ever going down fwiw. Since Galfond turned down others between him and Berri in terms of power rankings its unlikely to begin with. Most importantly I think logistics are impossible, Galfond only seems to want to play on US-facing sites excl acr. Clearly Berri wont go to the US just to play Galfond online, last option would be some of the sites where HU matches typically go down away from the public, but I assume if Galfond plays it would be some kind of publicity stunt to plug his training sites and products so I dont really see him ever taking a match vs Berri without the publicity and what not. Only way it goes down is if Galfond travels outside the country to play (which I think he said he don't want to do?) or if they both decide to play on acr which neither of them do and are very likely to do.
I don't really follow Galfond that much, but why does he refuse on playing on acr? Litterally every single top 10 regular in HU poker is living outside of the US. Can think of a handful of people that would play him if he decided to play on acr.
