This is so silly. If there is .00001% chance that Rob called something strong behind and might think about calling you should try to make it look like you have a decision. He was clearly not intentionally trying to slow roll the guy.

Oh, and the next episode is up, number 4.

Some amazing stories being told on these Triton videos. Rob saying to Robl ‘see how many games you get into once you don’t have your albatross’ referring to JRB was so good. JRB looked like he’d been cut in half.

Riiight. Cause when wu calls a raise then backraises a committing amount for 250bb he’s obviously not very strong huh. Are you forgetting that yong has 2 players to worry about and there’s no sidepot? Even if yong doesn’t peg Romain for aa, kk or qq he obviously assumes wu has one of those holdings given how he’s been playing. You people are ridiculous. This isn’t some wsop tourney this is a nosebleed stakes recreational player gold mine. You need to make sure these people like you and I highly doubt he’s sacrificing any ev by shoving after 10 seconds vs shoving after 1 minute of tanking. Also guarantee that nobody at that table including dwan would tank in that spot. Sorry, done ranting. No surprise you idiots would never be invited to a game like this

You sort of have to be a literal billionare to not care about a million really.. If no one there cared about the money or it didn't hurt for them to lose they would just up the stakes. But they don't. So... They care.

I do too
Have you watched the episode ?
I mean, do you remember the previous episodes of short deck when people where putting hundreds of thousands in the middle each hand like it was nothing.
Here I did not feel like it was really dramatic for anyone to lose the AA vs KK hand.

I checked and it took exactly 29 seconds between Wu going allin and Romain going allin. Considering that with huge pots like this you always have to make sure that you read the action and your hand correctly, that's like 15 seconds of tanking.

Also, there are 2 live hands behind him, of course he can take as much time as he can, and thinking otherwise is absurd.
06-07-2019 , 04:13 AM
I was expecting to see him tank for 2 min+ after all this talk, he acted relatively fast. You don't expect him to instashove his stack to the middle, right?

Just assume he has AKs and not AA. He would want to make sure what the stacks behind him are, he needs to doublecheck Wu's stack. Taking a bit of time here with 2 people behind you is completely fine. Some people take more time to make a simple preflop raise decision ffs.

Also if Wu wasn't a VIP and it would've been Robl instead nobody would bat an eye.
06-07-2019 , 08:03 AM
yeah, Yong is a complete tool throughout these episodes
06-07-2019 , 08:06 AM
Triton > HSP, PAD, LATB, PSBG, etc
06-07-2019 , 09:53 AM
Yong is a tool, but JRB should know his place too, he was a nobody and still is a nobody and wants the same respect as these businessman get, its normal that someone like Rob will just **** around with him, he should take it with a smile...
06-07-2019 , 10:35 AM
I am addicted to these triton series, I swear I haven't seen robl make a mistake ever. Even when he makes crazy plays with off suit hands they work out, it's like he's cheating or something. haha very strange I know.
06-07-2019 , 10:59 AM
JRB comes off really bad in my opinion. He set over set someone and keeps complaining, never stops talking about the KQhh fold that “took 8 minutes”,...
06-07-2019 , 11:23 AM
Yeah he's really annoying. Going on and on about the KQ hand, being really nitty about dealers dealing to players who aren't there, etc

I'm pretty sure the show is edited. Maybe they shortened his tank?

I agree these shows are very fun to watch. I enjoy the aggro mouthy recs like Baldwin and Rob Yong. Much more enjoyable to see the pros put to the test and needled by those two rather than playing vs typical polite and quiet weak passive recs.

Folding 98s to a squeeze 250bb or something deep seems like a mistake to me.

damn bro ur vids got some funky beats

Robl is so good at meta game. Rob Yong is just a moron. The guy tried to explain he thought Rob had QQ.

Interesting that JRB said, "My boss called me" or something like that but isn't Bobby Baldwin his boss? He was sitting right next to him. Who is JRB boss? the mafia?
