this is why i think the poker world is getting gayer by the minute. this crap is remeinding me of pool years ago. there was a time when players would match up and gamble with just about anyone because there was a certain pride that came along with proving your the best. regardless if you were or not, playing tough games is what made you a better player.

now, most players are looking for a "spot".

the end result is that game quality starts to deteriorate on a whole because nobody wants to play a tough game.

its my personal opinion that part of being a "poker player" is the daring, courageous and gambling side of it. its not supposed to be about the money really. its about the competition and mental battle and proving your the best.
