I watched some HSPLO on there last week, the rake is uncapped, why would anyone want to play when that is the case. I have never 'grinded' so don't really follow all the capped, unbeatable rake arguements. However, most sites are capped so even large pots its normally a few to 10's of $, HSPLO on GG is 100's-1000's of $. I like the site so far for MTT's, but would never play PLO on there under that set-up.

very easy to play highstakes plo when u have guys like leon on your table... but still pretty ridic to have uncapped rake.

Ah, yes I kind of figured as I was typing that there must be positive $ implication involved. Agreed, crazy policy. Didn't notice if many regular stake PLO tables were running, and only saw the one HS running.

That's what I was thinking too. These players are top of the food chain and making this little? Wow. Of course, most of the guys play on multiple sites but these numbers are very sad compared to earlier years.

I just think no one plays HS on stars anymore. I think because of corona this is the best year for online high stakes poker easily in last 5 years maybe more.

Why do you think this is? Doesn't stars have the best security and is the least likely site to run off with everyone's money. I thought these things would be high on the list for most players.

days where stars had the best support or security are behind us

Stars still highest security site, problem is that its actually hard to get a lot of money deposited to the site, and then 20k+ games are locked and stars seem to be reluctant to allow recs into these games.

Thanks. Guess these games won't run in 2020 without recs.

Don't think there's anyone on stars hs using any RTA software. Id guess that theres some sneakers at lower/midstakes esp 500z. Would be quite stupid to start using software at stars hs as player pool so small, so very easy to detect.

Incredible that a site with UNCAPPED RAKE has the most HS traffic. Absolutely bizzare.

When everyone has a different affiliate giving them a different amount of rakeback you never really know how much each person is getting back from the insane amounts of rake paid.

When the 25k daily tournies were running I heard some incredibly high rakeback% numbers being offered by exclusive/highstakes affiliates that was shared on twitter.

I imagine the guys who play high stakes on GG a lot are close friends with people with power and/or sway within GG to get the best deals possible
07-07-2020 , 01:09 PM
were HS games on GG only played at plo?
