that's right. but he didn't say in interviews that he killed her afaik. there's only that hidden camera tape where he's saying that she had seizures and some "friend" (probably his father) dumped her body into the ocean.

iirc his father was not in Aruba at the time of the Holloway murder. He phoned a friend who owned a boat and asked him to help dump the body.

BIRMINGHAM, AL-The U.S. Attorneys Office received an arrest warrant against Joran Van Der Sloot on wire fraud and extortion charges.

Money was wired from a Birmingham institution back in May to Joran Van Der Sloot.

Van Der Sloot requested $250,000 in exchange for the whereabouts of Natalee Holloway’s remains and the circumstances relating to her death.

The information he gave was false.

Van Der Sloot was arrested today in Chile for a seperate murder of a young woman.

Peru does not have the death penalty. It was abolished in 1979. The only exception is for cases of treason and terrorism but that has never been enforced there.

So what would you do if you were Joran in a country with a bad justice system and no extradition treaty with your home country and some girl randomly dropped dead in your hotel room, would you call 911 and be lynched for it anyway or would you run?

anybody has an idea of how justice/prisons work in chili ?

chili doesnt have an arrangement w/ holland or w/ peru...so how is this gonna work out since he didnt do anything wrong in chili?

When the international warrant is official in 2-5 days, Chili will be able to arrest him (he's pseudo-arrested atm), and they will be able to extradite him to Peru, where he will be tried and kept.

Don't know anything about how that works...but assuming he will be extradited to peru to face trial there for murder...after that i have no idea
