But I don't know if The Netherlands has an agreement with Peru or if Peru has a royal family (Queen or King). If they have an agreement, van der Sloot has a serious chance of getting deported back to The Netherlands. I don't think the Dutch Queen will do anything to get van der Sloot back though, lol.. He's not very popular here (I am Dutch).
No royal families anywhere in the Americas. Kind of doubt the Netherlands have an agreement with Peru.
Mexico and the US have an agreement that you can request to your sentence served in your own countries prisons. This was prompted by Americans in Mexican prison for drug offences. Think people were more upset by the severity of the sentences, questions of innocence, and the corruption of the Mexican judicial system. There were some bad things to deal with in Mexican prisions. However, in Mexican prisons you are allowed to have a wife/girlfriend/prostitute in once every so often and you can cook your own food and basically you can have a lot of priveledges if you pay people off, so I don't know if all the Americans took up this offer.

hopefully justice is served this time.
His father isn't the prosecutor in Peru. Some of these rich brats keep doing worse and worse stuff when they get away with it.
