I have told US players in various threads that ALL gambling winnings are taxable income, and they come up with ten reasons why they shouldn't pay taxes: income tax is illegal, they can't trace my cash winnings, I don't make enough (might be true only if it's under 5K or so and they have no other income), I haven't cashed out, etc., etc.

I declare every cent, even if it's $50 cash for a music gig. That's what the tax law says I must do.
The Bush Admin is spending way more than there bringing in and while they are promoting tax rebates they are also on the IRS's ass to get them to find as many tax cheats as they can and bring in as much money as they can so right now is the wrong time to try and cheat the IRS. Especially with this administrations love for poker players.

Don't you think if Full Tilt had closed Little's account before the HU tourny it would have hurt them? Bad publicity during a nationally televised show over a sponsored pro would seem an expensive penalty for them to withstand because of Little's cheating?

I was hoping to log in this morning to find some response from Jonathan Little either here or on SNGicons. However, nothing. All that is on SNGicons is a forum post with bigjoe2003 doubting that Jon shared his account and other's supporting that sentiment or suggesting that it's no big deal even if it's true.

I presume laying low and waiting to determine what the best form of bs spin control you can come up with to try and minimize the damage is the only course of action that a lying, cheating, scumbag thief would take.

wow nice thread - guess having this deal the action was far away from beeing clever

I am a regular SNG player on the 110 level, the one Little was playing the most. Among the regulars, there was definitely a feeling that something was amiss and it wasn't just due to volume.

When you play with the same person day after day, you get a pretty good idea of there push / fold range late in a sng and what hands they push with early in a sng. These ranges seemed to change daily which seems a little fishy.

I am not saying 100% that little was up to something, although FT certainly seems to think so.

But I will say that when you play 4000 sng's in less than a month and still have time to play in live events, your starting and late push hands range seems to change, and it is a well known fact that little lives with several other sng players, combined with him not coming online and battling these aqcusations, I am inclined to say that him sharing his account would not have been a surprise and the announcement personally was not a shock to me.

That's why some stud players are better than others too, because of their card counting skills(actually specific cards, not just points). Following your logic, are they cheating too?

The JL and AB's actions aren't comparable.
would people who are not card counters or ex pro blackjack players please refrain from talking about something you have no clue about ty. ie: black jack, also goes for the idiot that thinks what counters do affects regular degens at the table. it irks me when people dont play basic strategy perfectly at the table but i know it makes no difference to me in the long run. i am beating the casino not the other idiots at the table.

do not lump card counting in with malpractice and cheating kthnx

My apologies for having an opinion on the subject. I don't know what I could have been thinking when I was typing a post that disagreed with the notion that sharing an account and card counting are similar offenses. As a non card counter or ex pro blackjack player, why the **** should I be able to comment on it? How stupid of me to make such an assumption.
