McCain and Kerry have had a long friendship after they got over Vietnam. McCain was on Kerry's short list for VP in 2004 and on Syria they are of the same opinion. No need to listen to some Senator drone on and McCain can probably recite Kerry's answer as quickly as Kerry could.

who cares? it looks like his job is boring, and it's play money. if he was multi-tabling 5/10 maybe people could be more concerned he wasn't paying attention.

In the Canadian Parliament we had a problem with MPs playing solitaire and the like on their laptops/blackberrys.

The solution: Press was forbidden to take pictures of devices. As they should be.
