And now we have these two loudmouth bigshots, Joe and Prahlad, going around declaring that everyone in poker is corrupt. No, guys, it's just the scummy company that you chose to represent that is coloring your poker-worldview.
Shameful.
One question, one point:
Q: How much do you think these endorsement deals are worth to big names like Prahlad and Joe in real $ terms that they have to defend ub at all costs. As a professional who is not sponsored, I'm just curious how much you think (given your stance) these deals are worth in real $ terms (buy ins, etc) such that they go to such extremes? Care to guesstimate a range based on your perception?
Point: I think people seem to be overlooking and or forgetting the essence that Ike blatantly played Prahlad on an unknown account with the full knowledge that Prah didn't want to play him. Obviously this is Ike's "right," but please don't make Ike out to be any sort of saint here, he is just as money hungry as the next poker player. Praising him for his ethics is downright laughable. Of course I agree with everyone else that the way Prah went about the accusation was terribad (ie twitter, etc.). One last thing, did I misinterpret that Prah literally saw Ike in person and asked if he was playing and Ike responded with "umm..." or did i read that wrong. If so lol@ike and I'd really like to see a photoshop of that encounter...
cliffs: ike exploited the rules just like he "should," prah was right to think he was playing ike and Noah's analysis of the stats seems inconclusive at best (given that he WAS playing ike--in other words, Prah knew something the stats apparently didn't suggest?), and prah shouldn't have called out anyone via the twitter war.

ps. as everyone knows i'm as disgusted as anyone with ub and although prah was one of my heroes he lost some luster in my eyes when he signed with them and in this latest fiasco.
