ty and ty.
Can you rephrase your first question? I'm not sure if you're just asking if I'm able to do that (A: Yes), or if you're asking me to actually compare some poker stuff to film stuff right now. What stuff in particular?
Film school was a lot easier for me, but that might not be the case for everyone. By the time I got to film school I already had a solid foundation in drama and visual storytelling, so that gave me a leg up on my classmates. Film also hit my particular obsessions/talents/skills whereas poker did not, or at least not to the same extent.
But another reason it was easier was that it always made me happy. When you love something you don't mind the difficulties and the setbacks - it's almost a pleasure to push through them. I love poker almost as much as film, but as anyone who has ever played a single hand can tell you, it doesn't always make you
happy.
