Rogan's podcast is the nuts and all the haters just don't understand. I mean the guy isn't perfect by any means, but he is funny.

Joe Rogan's the type of guy who could not have a single clue on the specifics of a subject and yet crush the opposition in basically every debate unless the opponent is a both a skilled debater and and an expert on the subject. This impresses me because I'm always thinking "****, that's the line i should have used" like 5 minutes after the debate is done. I'm a big fan of him in his comedy, ufc announcing and podcast in general... but you have to roll your eyes when he starts talking about stuff he really doesn't have much of a clue about even when he's dominating the conversation.

His podcast is the **** for live grinding.

To me he really isnt that funny, but he is thought provoking, interesting, and says things that no one else does. For that I respect him.

Met Rogan awhile back when he was on vacation on the east coast at a location that shall remain nameless (I can verify they've had the likes of Uriah Faber, ironic he got his rear kicked not long after that vacation, as well as the crew for EB&D has stayed there for Seasons 1 and 3 filming) Even had some bigger named actors such as Will Farrell (laugh he uses a hillarious alias when checking in but thats just him) Anyway as my wife works there I cant reveal due to the resorts very strict privacy rules but its very popular with bigger named stars staying in Eastern US vacations spots) and the staff definitely look the other way with stuff.. Oh as for Rogan hes actually a nice guy if you talk to him pretty normal and not like someguys who think because theyve been on tv a few times they are Gods gift to the world.. Funny story bout this place.. last year when they were doing a few backdrop scenes for EB&D the guy who played Pedro in Napoleon Dynamite (cant think of his name) dude is getting a hummer from a hooker in the car. Well Nightmanager didnt know what was going on and if it was a guest let alone a VIP Guest... Laugh. Cops roll up.. NOthing happened. the Cops just wanted the guys autograph and cut him loose.. I know they say what happens in VEgas stays in Vegas well lets just say its true in at least one or two places out East Coast as well

I agree with a lot of Rogan's points but the way he comes across is preachy and its tough to take.

One thing I dislike about him is his know it all attitude. For example, he never smoked pot when he was younger, he thought it was stupid and if you smoked you were a loser. Then he discovers pot...now he's like, OMG pot is the greatest... He's like an evangelist for weed. He comes across as a douchebag when he does this.

Joey Diaz's episodes are the only ones I listen to. He reminds me a lot of Artie Lange.

That's ridiculous considering he completely acknowledges he was in the wrong when he was younger and didn't know any better. The difference is that he's very knowledgeable on the subject of pot now and has cited many sources in advocacy of why marijuana isn't harmful.

He has long held the opinion that you shouldn't touch pot until you're fully developed mentally/physically, ie not a teenager. I don't think this stance is hypocritical.

I like the podcast but his huge ego can get annoying. He often puts people down if they cross him in some way, even if it's a little thing. He also often refers to himself as if everyone wants to be him or do what he does just because he personally happens to like the things he does. He's open-minded and really understanding about most things but when it comes to understanding his own ego he's still in the dark.

Not really a reason to dislike his podcast though, it's pretty entertaining and sometimes you actually learn about cool stuff you didn't hear about before

firstly ill say i enjoyed the podcast and have mad respect for the man as hes not afraid 2 "step outside the box" on various issues right or wrng. he presents his opinion and makes u think differently about it. however, was i the only one thinking it was a little funny that he had 2 google who full tilt poker was considering they sponsored alot of fighters?

when joe was talking about online poker etc.. it was much like the thinking of the general public..he was just saying he heard on the news

he knows he doesn't understand the poker world so he just blurts out his opinion knowing it may be wrong.. he doesn't give a ****...

i listen to all of his podcasts and when i heard this part i just brushed it off and so "oh joe".... most of his **** is like that..

the ONLY things he TRULY underStands is juijitsu/fighting, and stand up.. anything else is an opinion
