Its like anything that relates to human anatomy, it depends on how you respond. If you sweat and create BO easily, you might need to shower more often than some one who doesn't. But its not as simple as everyone needs to shower every day.

Personally I shower just about every day, with the exceptions being the days where Im being super lazy and hanging around the house. But its more of a routine thing than a cleanliness thing.

How is this good for poker and more importantly why aren't the higher ups that run the World Series doing anything?

Again think about it, in an age that most high profile poker players tweet regularly, our main event 'champion' blocks his account!! Just disgraceful and embarrassing.

Thoughts?
People like OP have ruined America and poker.

No one knows or remembers them, the unwashed masses just want to know how much is "up top".

This is actually true.

It wasn't this way right in the midst of the boom. Things were a little different then.

But it is now. And, I doubt it would have made too much of a difference, but what there was left for trying to get publicity from an unknown spot, ESPN killed for sure. I didn't watch it for like 6 years and then I saw it again and all they did was flash from coin flip to coin flip to coin flip. They literally almost showed nothing but flashing to situations where play was over and everyone was all-in.

I also cannot name the last 2 winners. I recall Peter Eastgate and Greg Merson and I'm pretty sure each of those were a few years ago.

"In an interview with BuzzFeed, two dermatologists told readers that washing your skin every day removes the good, useful bacteria that keep your skin healthy. This bacteria acts like a shield against harmful bacteria. It also helps keep out toxins from chemical soaps, shampoos, perfumes, and other personal care products."

My thoughts:

Making this thread is really weird. Nonetheless, to give my opinion on the three items in question (with no particular person in mind --- and I mean that, I have never met Joe McKeehan and know nothing about him):

1. Not tipping the cocktail waitress is kinda messed up. I get that the usual understood tip of a dollar is way too high for a beer or a water or whatever. But she works the same as a waitress where it is understood that tips will be paid. So long as she does an adequate job, she should be tipped something.

2. Shower. Every day.

3. Who cares about twitter? I actually don't mean to be insulting, but whenever I see anyone care so much about twitter or whatever, I wonder why they act so much like a 13 year old girl.

Last 5 winners? I'm gonna give it a serious crack....

Joe McKeehan
Pius Heinz
Jonathan Duhamel
Jamie Gold
Jerry Yang

I'm sure I've missed some. There was an ex-con at one point I think.

Eh, the OP has an admitted personal grudge against McKeehen and is trying to get us all to join in by pretending there's such thing as a Poker Ambassador or that McKeehen's Twitter settings are inhibiting the growth of poker. So it's not just that somebody was rude to his wife, but that it's hurting poker and costing us money in the long run.

Totally untrue and daily showering is less healthy than showering infrequently

East Coast Balla motioned him over and Joe noticed his wife had a big zit on the tip of her nose so he tried not to look directly at her. She kept saying "Joe, is that Aqua Velva you are wearing" but he was trying his best not to look directly at her nose so he ignored her and walked away. He then immediately blocked OP on Twitter and the rest is history, OP starts a new thread about Joe every other week. That's the short version.

But still.

ECB also wrote: "Winning the main event is 1 of the rare few events that could have propelled him to a well-liked global ambassador and he could have made a positive name for himself."

ECB believes that winning millions of dollars requires somebody to change who he is in order to satisfy the expectations of strangers he doesn't care about.

If he doesn't hit set over set there's a strong chance Munk wins the main. Dude was playing so good.

1. Personal hygiene at the table is an underrated courtesy to other players. Everyone should make sure they're freshly showered, deoderised, teeth brushed, so they don't have BO or dogbreath. I sit at 10 person tables, we are jammed up next to each other FFS.

2. Someone won the WSOP and didn't spew all over social media about it? GOOD. They're setting a great example for everyone else...win millions of dollars and shuts up about it? That should be the bar for whether or not to post your trivial life events all over the internet.

Lol no. He played the hand weak and scared pre. Had he raised he woulda got 3bet by the guy with qq and mckeehan woulda probaly folded his sixes pre and he coulda flatted, flopped his set and won a big pot instead of busting. Had mckeehan not sucked out against Beckleys ak he woulda been out long before the final table, what if what if what if. So many things obv have to happen to win a donkament as we all know let alone the main but JS wasn't playing the best out of who was left when he was eliminated

Excessive showering
Excessive tipping
Excessive tweeting
Excessive use of double letters in words where one letter is enough
OP and his wife

I wish people would stop posting that they got blocked by him as if it's a brag. He made his account private. That isn't blocking, it just means you have to request to follow.
