I love how when some non egotistical poker player wins the Main Event, all the egotistical self-righteous think they are world crushers (lol), come out crying how he is no good and OMG its the death of the game. Unbelievable some of you running your gums. And hate to break it to you all, but he is sorta the embodiment of what people think of when they think poker players. Because it's true. Joe McKeehan winning was the greatest thing bc he definately is what poker rooms are full of out there, real people. It's supposed to be for good service, and it's supposed to be optional. If the waitress brings you the wrong drink or forgets to bring your drink and you have to remind her, she doesn't deserve a tip.

probably something to do with how many hands a year and/or avg. pot size but differs from person to person. If you are a sucker, you can so easily tip them WAY too much of your hard earned cash, probably...

i'm torn on that one, but ive one thing you never listen to the dealers they'll literally convince you choppin a nice huge piece but of all that effort you put in to win is the right thing. Yet they dont know your everyday week/month/year routine.

So imo dealers for a player, literally, not even close last one you ever want to take advice on about tipping them. Unless maybe you're sleeping together or something. win 10 thousands hands a year then add all the "you wanna chop the blinds" (FL dawg track type stuff) and it adds up quick. A 'pro', playing likely 25k plus pots a year live, then have the cocktail waitress/drink peoples (skin in the game) parking, gass, tolls, w.e.....

Guy is the biggest luckbox I have ever had the non-pleasure of playing with. Hits 1 and 2 outers like he is the prohibitive favorite. Countless examples.

Oh and him dissing my wife was just 1 example. Hated him long before that incident. Plus word is he cheated a few guys who took pieces of him. Look, the guy needs counseling, lots of it but obviously will not happen.

This is a good point i tend to tip too often for ****ty service, and not enough for good service.

However, from what I gather this is off topic. This thread is about some donkament luckbox poker player: his personal hygiene (based on limited sample size I'd presume), his lack of social media presenence, and yes, tipping!

If you share space with others, keep up your hygiene. Shower and brush your teeth. If you don't share space with others, do whatever youd like.

Not tipping is pretty absurd. Not as absurd as low wages that make tips crucial in many jobs, but still pretty low if hes really not tipping.

All the other stuff OP is upset with doesnt matter.
