My first level thinking was this looks really bad on Doug. But after taking a hot shower it occur to me that I got a big refund for the plo package(50% bonus code any content) without asking for it when all this came out. There a lot of misunderstanding in owner-employee relationship. ex. Musk/Bezos treat there employee really harsh but customer are god. Owner try to give customers best rate while they expect employee to be good/rational at everything ex. Amazon undercut book price rate while screwing authors. This might come down to business decision that make sense to Doug.

Just to confirm I bought a sub to the plo LAB trough Joey's link and got no extra videos. I emailed Upswing and they said something along the lines of "talk to Joey". Not that they were rude, but that's what it boiled down to.

Also I only signed the first month because they were waving the 99$ first time fee. I planned on subscribing later whem more content is added, but turns out people at Upswing are incompetents who don't read contracts.
So I paid 99$ for 1 month of content, when I was expecting to resubscribe later and get to choose from 7 or 8 months of content for 198$. I emailed them about it and this really how it was supposed to work, so I wasn't cheating the system or something like that.
I would never subscribe if I knew that they were selling 12 months subs whitout actually having a contract that would cover the 12 months, so I feel cheated by upswing.


And to close the post I want to say that in terms of presentation the videos on Jnandez new site are better than anything I have seen on Upswing or RIO. Much easier to follow and retain a beautifull and colorfull presentation than a B & W ppt like some videos on RIO. The quality of the content is what we were accostumed by Jnandez.
Just saying this to proove that the extra people Jnandez hired seemed to help create a much better product. The fact that some of them have parted ways doesn't bode well for Jnandez, but we don't really know what caused that.
And as the post seems to shilly I will just add that Jnandez is probably an ******* too. As filip/horseofhell said in the knitting scandal thread the guy unironically likes Tai Lopez and Grant Cardone. Still an ******* that makes good content.

Except quite a few of Doug's products are pretty **** like the MTT course or the new cash course.

People comparing actual products marketed to millions of people to a niche poker course (for PLO) to x amount of thousands of players player-base to start with and only a small fraction of people wanting to improve by buying a course..


seems crazy Joey got so much in affiliate money to start with (with university) when doug is way bigger than him and already marketed the course all over yt / social medias. JNs named wasnt as big at the time but Id assume almost a 100% crossover in joey and doug viewership / base so why pay joey a huge cut to market the same stuff and basically beg for affiliate signups by promising ludicrous amounts of extra videos that he never ended up doing? (besides doug just doing joey a favour and wanting his buddy to make $ too.

and then it gets even worse when the same deal is brought over to PLO lab as JN said in the OP video when it came time for PLO lab only 5 of ~160-180 signups for PLO lab through joeys affiliate link were unique signups that had never owned the plo university. This meant joey was making $25 off every monthly $100 sub from those ~160+ people instead of some % of that money going to JN when Joey brought almost nothing to the table when it comes to bringing in new customers for the lab.

On top of that when he said he met joey in vegas to discuss the situation it sounded like joey had a big ego about it and basically egged him on to leave upswing and by saying loltoobad there is nothing you can do about changing it , leave upswing if you don't like it which would be crazy. (in JNs words retelling the story^)

So don't ever, ever, ever do business with poker players. Gotcha. In other news did guys hear about this thing called gravity? All the scientists are going nuts over it, apparently apples are attracted to the ground!!
