Sounds like all parties (including 2+2) are taking the best outlook on what could have been an ugly situation.

Doug, very good of you to offer refunds to your paying customers. A lot of companies give the impression that they would take this sort of action... but very few do when they have to exercise their words into practice.
Hopefully you get a wider range of PLO coaches so you don't leave yourself too vulnerable.

They really weren't bad. About the same as what you see here. More accusatory and less political, but it hadn't spiraled into any serious mudslinging or anything, as far as I got to see it anyway.

Doug said jnandez was unethical, jnandez said he wanted to do things differently and had the right to do so.

I guess there was some stuff about timing and who said what, and also how refunds would work (the question being if jnandez would contribute to refunds via his pay).

Really confusing that it was removed.

One thing that was discussed in the original thread (that hasnt been mentioned here) is that Doug/Upswing probably had to have that clause (that allowed JNandez to leave) in the contract to make it legal. While Doug probably still should have known that clause was in the contract, it sounds like his lawyer probably had that in the contract as a standard thing.

Is it really your contention that if you make a bunch of money "sitting on your ass" that you can't get taken advantage of? Really? Besides that, let's ignore the time, money, and effort that was put into creating, promoting, and maintaining Upswing so JN can have the opportunity to get known and bail. Doug sounds lazy af.
