at the time.... bottom line you put a challenge , where it seems like anybody anytime. He maybe didn't know what he was saying/ getting himself into. His original challenge language:

In January 2009 Dwan issued a $1,000,000 challenge to play anyone online, "with the exception of Phil Galfond", heads up for 50,000 hands 4-tabling $200/$400 or higher No-Limit Holdem or Pot-Limit Omaha. If his opponent is ahead after 50,000 hands, Dwan agreed to give them $1,500,000 more, while if Dwan is ahead, he will get $500,000.

Advice to Dwan . Publicly revoke your challenge.

a lot of people like myself have fairly significant action on the event. ive had more $ riding on this in limbo than on anything else ever so i think plenty of people can care. also i'm sure several people just want to watch them play.

some people like stating fact.

1.) Dwan started 2 challenges and has yet to finish them. Maybe his fault, maybe not.

2.) Phil Ivey said he would not play WSOP until U.S. players were paid. He lied about that. Definitely Phil's fault he lied.
