I am not saying they did or didn't cheat, I don't know **** about OFC, (as we both know, literally the only time I played OFC for more than like play money was live against you) so I cannot say anything about the likelihood they did or didn't cheat.
The problem is this, when you run up a balance you have 1 of 2 options
1) Pay
2) Say that you think they were cheating and not pay, understanding that if you frequently do that you are going to look bad and also not get further action.
There isn't a third option, where after losing you get to arbitrarily decide how much you should get to pay. You say you should get a 50% discount because he offers that to other people before they play? How is that in any way relevant, you already have a balance with him. You don't get to decide afterwards that you get the same discount and try to negotiate him down because he "might be cheating".
Personally, I think if you play OFC, you do so knowing you might get cheated and that is the rake. If you can say afterwards oh you were cheating I don't have to pay and get away with it then the entire thing is pretty stupid. It's kind of like at high stakes poker online, you play people knowing there is a % chance they are multi accounting even if they shouldn't. It doesn't make doing it ok, you just play realizing there is a chance that is occurring.
I understand that then makes cheating very profitable, but guess what, cheating people has always been very profitable. Don't play with people you don't trust to play fair, or play in a game you can assure is fair. If you play in a game knowing the parameters, and then lose a lot of money in a way you cannot actually prove cheating, then IMO the responsibility of the debt is on you.
Either way, negotiating someone off the balance you owe because they might be cheating is completely insane.
(Oh btw Fernando, the original text to her is super creepy. "Hey congrats on the kid, that is amazing. Also, wheres my money?")
